Cruz had some rally threads last week. Hardly any of the Cruz supporters watched them. 25-30 posts, if that much.
Yet...they get on Trump threads and make fools of themselves. Truth is that they think Ted is a King and Ted is perfect. They are the worshippers.
People here on this thread were just having a good time at the rally.
Throw conservatism out the window. Folks are demanding a strong man to do things. Conservatives want restraint imposed and a return to limited federal government. That means not so much doing. We need a lot of undoing. But, delivering what Trump seems to be promising (as much as it can rationally be deciphered) is going to require increasing amounts of coercion. I guess we are used to that by now.
Sounds too much like Obama’s tactics, only with different goals hoped for. I wish it heralded a Golden Age, but I don’t think it does.
Trump’s name was floated around here for years and was invariably met with hoots of derision. The mindless love fest is just a bit boggling.
