Instead of blaming America .. why don’t you consider that the USA has a separate agreement with Germany .. and it could be quite different from the agreement with Canada.
Since we destroyed Germany in WWII; I suspect we had a lot of agreements regarding citizenship and marriage, etc.
However, in Canada, they have pretty much been on the side of the USA. That doesn’t mean our laws have changed .. maybe the laws of Canada have changed ..??
You just seem too eager to blame America for everything .. and Cruz for everything else.
The laws of other counties, Germany, Canada, Timbuktoo, have nothing to do with our country, our constitution. Their particular laws have nothing to do with making our citizens native, natural born or naturalized.
And yes, this country is at fault. We have allowed this state of affairs.
