My point was that for all of the big talk from Cruz people that he will bring back constitutional government, blah blah blah, they all fail to realize that he has literally zero clout in congress as it is, and will find himself completely rudderless as president, and will have to compromise all over the place in order to get the smallest thing done.
And that is WITH a GOP controlled congress. Like what is going to do, go to congress and debate them on the House floor like this os the House of Commons?
Now past that, which is the only reason we actually get as to why we must support him, his supporters have precious little as to why he is a better choice.
Your original reply is what we have been telling Cruz people for weeks. So yes it did prove my point.

Really .. I don’t see that. The current GOP-e have now sided with the DemocRATS .. and allowing Obama to get whatever he wants.
Cruz is not going to do that. And .. you’re right, the Senate doesn’t like him .. BECAUSE HE’S ALWAYS TELLING THEM WHAT THEY’RE DOING WRONG .. AND THEY DON’T LIKE IT .. IN FACT, IF THE CONGRESS LOVED HIM .. I PROBABLY WOULDN’T VOTE FOR HIM.
And remember this .. Reagan didn’t have any clout in Congress either .. and his 8 years in office gave us over 25 years of prosperity.
And, I don’t agree that Cruz would have to compromise all over the place to get anything done .. WHO SAYS ..?? Cruz has never done that .. and that’s the main issue against him, according to the media.
Here’s a suggestion .. just listen to what Cruz says and then watch what he does. Stop listening to the media WHO HATE HIM AND WANT HIM OUT OF OFFICE. Don’t fall for it.
And .. who’s to say that the next election will not get rid of a lot of trouble makers in the Congress .. a lot of them are up for re-election; and the public is mad at their performance. You don’t want to tick off the electorate when they think you’re messing up.
