Released just three days before Christmas, presidential candidate Ted Cruz has a new three-minute video entitled “2015: A Year Fighting for Freedom, Texas and America,” in which he powerfully explains how to “break the Washington Cartel.”
In the new video, Cruz explains that in Washington, D.C., it’s much easier for politicians to take the “path of least resistance.”
“There’s a reason so many politicians talk about standing up to Washington and yet, so few actually do it. Because it’s far easier to take the path of least resistance.
“How do you break the Washington Cartel? You make the political price of doing the wrong thing higher than the political price of doing the right thing.
That can only come from We the People.”
Ted Cruz is credited with coining the term “Washington Cartel” and has previously defined it as:
“The Washington Cartel consists of career politicians in both parties who get in bed with lobbyists and special interests here in Washington and grow and grow and grow government. The Washington Cartel is, I believe, the source of the volcanic frustration Americans face across this country.”
Cruz has, often alone or nearly so, stood up to fight the establishment in both parties, fighting against issues like the funding of Obamacare, Planned Parenthood, and trying to stop Obama’s dangerous Iran Deal, as well as the continual raising of the debt ceiling.

Did you go the thread I linked? Read any of the posts? I counted over a dozen on the first two pages alone saying, yeah, the Constitution is done, put Trump in as "our" dictator.

Just FYI, but Cruz said the same thing way back in April. Well, that he would get rid of every ILLEGAL executive order which includes amnesty, obamacare and many others.
That is awesome.
Please stop telling that lie about Cruz. He was born of a mother who was a current UNITED STATES CITIZEN .. that made Cruz a Citizen the day he was born. The fact that his mother was working in Canada at the time .. is irrelevant; because otherwise, all our military wives who have born children in some foreign country would learn their child was the citizen of a foreign country .. REALLY ..!!!
You can criticize Cruz all you want .. but to just plain old LIE about him .. well that’s not reasonable.

Geeeeee .. you better brush up on your government .. the President cannot MAKE THE CONGRESS PASS ANYTHING. He can ask for things, but he cannot force them to do anything.
It’s only this current group of people in Congress who willingly go along with the current tyrant in the WH, this is what allows all this horrible legislation get passed.
Learn how the govt works before you accuse Cruz of wanting to do anything; or suggesting that he will be able to control part of the govt he cannot control.
You’re insinuating that because Cruz’s wife worked on Wall Street, then Cruz is favored by them .. that’s just not true.

She still works for Goldman Sachs, she is on a leave of absence. GS and other financial institutions have contributed to Cruz’s campaign. They don’t give funds to anyone that would be against their interests. For sure Jeb or Hillary are Wall Street’s preferred puppets but Cruz would be of little hindrance to what they do....
