Yeah, we can't have people attempting to protect Americans and our economic well being.

Believe what you want will help and discuss it. I'm just saying a thread of a few protectionists here back-slapping each other is not indicative of neither FR nor America. You were saying since you were circle-jerking each other that not many believes in free trade. You're wrong.

Btw, Free Trade supporters are becoming a rarity, whether you admit it or not.

Again, you're wrong. Just because not many want to argue with you rude simple-minded people doesn't mean they agree with you. Like I said the issue has been settled in American history, every time protectionism was tried on a wide scale it failed due to bitterness and the perception that some states were getting ripped off by it. There is no serious attempt to go back to the failed tariff policies of the 17th and 18th centuries, so it's not worth arguing about to most. Trump is appealing to you because he knows you're simple-minded and want him for emperor to just go after the "evil corporations" (which is a very liberal concept, BTW), just like he said he wanted Oprah for VP, to appeal to the masses. Sorry, most Americans are small-r republicans, we don't want an emperor, Trump is going nowhere with his protectionism.

you rude simple-minded people

So was George Washington rude and simple minded?

During the Revolution the Tories and loyalists wanted to maintain the status quo with England. The didn't believe in tariffs either. They wanted the colonies to provide raw materials and the British would "kindly" turn them into finished goods. These types sometimes ended up swing from lampposts. Not like that could ever happen again, no not possible....

You can deny these corrupt Free Trade laws have not left Middle America all but dead on the floor, you can deny the same super wealthy who pushed for Free Trade were not the same ones pushing punitive tax and environmental laws which helped murder their competition in the U.S., you can deny millions entering the U.S. illegally have not harmed Middle America.

But the facts say different. Just look at what’s left of Middle America. It’s undeniable and not even debatable.
