He was a weak governor.he should have sent in the state troopers to protect Terry Schiavo and cause a show down and have round the clock protection for her.I don’t give a good goddamn about what law he would have been breaking either.If that sumbitch couldnot/wouldnot protect a defenceless woman in a coma then just how the hell does anyone think he would protect any of the rest of us as president?
not sure state troopers could be assigned. the entire mess was a civil action under the jurisdiction of first the state court and then federal district court. state court judge actually referenced that the only thing that girl is gonna do is die. the husband was relentless and on a roll. the courts aided and abetted him. it was horrible.
