Well .. for starters, Terrorism and the Economy strike me as much more important than gay marriage.

And .. especially since Americans seem to be more concerned that they aren’t going to be shot at, blown up, or have their head cut off or burned to death.

And .. if they don’t get a handle on the economy .. it’s going to be another depression .. and that will make America weaker in the eyes of our enemies and they will figure we are ripe for the picking.

So, I’m sure there’s more .. but none of them are gay marriage.

As a Christian nation, we should not be promoting it anyway.

Cruz’s answer didn’t lower homosexual marriage in priority. It was the “questioner” asking a loaded question that attempted to give the illusion of same.

We are already in the eighth year of a depression. There has been no recovery at all. Look at the growth rates in the GDP now as compared to the 1930’s. They are incredibly slow now where in the early part of the thirties the growth rates where large, just not large enough to sustain a complete recovery.
