Wow. You got only 40 days left to spout.
I love the Hollywood Squares graphic.
More squares need to be Trumped.
Except the Republicans have Rubio and Carson pulling decent shares of votes and even Bush and Christie to some extent in NH. So your analogy to 2008 inherently is flawed. Perhaps reduced to Trump and Cruz it might have some validity, but not in a multi camdidate field. You Cruz people never stop.
I agree, he knows Iowa isn’t as important as it’s made out to be. He’s looking way beyond Iowa.
When you look at the splits, a couple of things jump out. 1) Even though they officially list 18-34 year olds as 20% of the respondents, it appears this group has a much greater influence on the “results”. 2) If you really want to look at the skewed population, consider the results of the question on who would better handle terrorism where Hillary beat Trump outright. Is there anyone in the U.S. that believes that?
Cruz isn’t the “real deal”. No candidate is, they all have flaws.
The question is who will defend America and Americans and work hard to see that there is opportunity for prosperity for all legal citizens. Trump and Cruz come the closest of all the candidates.
I know, the poll is insane.
Like I thought and have seen for years out of the ultra-liberal Quinnipiac U. who are dishonest pollsters. They have a long history of polling manipulation. Trump scares the crap out of these Communist.
Agreed. And sundance nailed Quinnipiac to the wall with his article. They are leftist shills for the Marxist cabal.
Presidents Hillary and Rudy are interested in your process. Can we wait until at least one vote is cast?
No we can not.
That's why we have Free Republic. To express and exchange opinions and viewpoints.
Get used to it, it's not going away.
Even if Bernie wins NH, I don’t see it mattering in the least.
“I got a Christmas card from Trump today! Love it!”
We received two of them today, one is opened, the other is still sealed....any bidders on the unsealed one? LOL just learning from The Donald.
These are GREAT POINTS. Even for people on our side, here on FR, they should SERIOUSLY CONSIDER the message they will be sending if they support Trump this time around. They don’t need to like him or respect him - but they have to SEND A MESSAGE that they will not herded into again supporting McCain/Romney (i.e., Jeb/Rubio this time).
No, not this time - Trump may have warts, may not be a perfect conservative, maybe not even close - but he will knock the BASTARDS that run the Republican party ON THEIR ASSES and that’s is EXACTLY what’s needed.
So let’s put an end to the TYRANNY of the Republican Establishment. They had their chance and they gave us Open Borders Bush followed by 8 YEARS OF OBAMA.
IT IS NOW OUR TURN - but only if we grab this once in a lifetime opportunity.
I live in Iowa. I've pretty much been a Cruz guy. Not on board with all of his stuff, as I lean libertarian, but he is close enough, that I will probably go vote for him in the caucus.
But I like Trump as well. His policies, I am not as aligned with. But I love how he sticks it to political correctness, and enjoy that he sticks it to the people whose viewpoints I totally disagree with. So I maybe would vote for him, just to stick it "the man".
But I also had a thought today, because I really, really, dislike Hillary. Would my vote be better spent going to the D caucus, and voting for Bernie? Because, what I am getting on the ground here in Iowa, I think Bernie can actually win Iowa. If you recall, in 2008, Hillary actually came in 3rd place in Iowa, behine 0bama and John Edwards. Bernie's folks are fired up. Hillary would do better in a primary, but she does not have as much rapid support that you need in a caucus. Does Hillary losing Iowa make any difference?
What say you Freepers?
Yep, that’s the way I see it too.
I’d stick with the Republican caucus and vote for Trump. He’s the real game changer IMO.
Except there is no “opinion” or “exchange”.
Here is an opinion: there will be a lot of disappointment when President Trump starts compromising with Harry Reid more than he does with the conservative wing of the party.
He says a lot of things. But he really says nothing.
Of course there is opinion and exchange of viewpoint. It goes on every day here. Why are you being obtuse?
