Seems like the problem is that you hate Trump more than you love America.

From where I'm sitting, and perhaps behind the same enemy lines as Trapped, it seems like the problem is that you love Trump more than you love conservatism.

And you hate conservatives who see Trump for the patriotic media-made celebrity he is.

So, by that faux-logic, it means that the following people love Trump and are not at all conservative:

Sarah Palin

Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas

former Congressman Virgil Goode of Virginia

Phyllis Schlafly

Jim Gilchrist, (leader and co-founder of the Minuteman Project)

Retired General Chuck Yeager, USAF

Ted Nugent, sworn defender of the Second Amendment

Just to name a few. Guess those people are dummies eh?

That's just weird. The fact that Trump is a media-made celebrity is well known. Conservatives should not base their opinion on that, but rather on his policy positions. Border? Check. 2nd amendment? Looks ok. Free Enterprise? Good for the most part. Muslim threat? Does any other candidate have the slightest clue about that?

It is true that Trump is not truly conservative. But that doesn't matter when his job right now is to smash the media monopoly. Just because the media made him does not mean they now control him. On the contrary they control many other candidates, exceptions are Cruz and Paul.

“And you hate conservatives who see Trump for the patriotic media-made celebrity he is.”

Oh, I do? If you’re referring to “The Apprentice”, I’ve never seen it or given it any consideration as I despise reality shows.

I’ve admired him since I read “The Art Of The Deal” — back in the ‘90s I believe. If you call him a media-made celebrity because he wrote that book, well... OK. Cruz wrote a book; does that make him a media-made celebrity?

Trump generally makes good, successful deals and he takes responsibility when there’s a problem. I doubt he would say, “Well, I voted the way I did because I believed Mitch McConnell.” That’s some disturbing discernment right there. Who, in his right and conservative mind, would believe Mitch McConnell about anything?

At this point in time, Trump’s position is the most conservative when it comes to illegal immigration. When he has something to say he doesn’t tap dance around the stand he’s taking and resort to political weasel words. Those GOP candidates who have held, or now hold, political office cannot utter a statement without passing it through some ungodly filter as to whether or not it’s PC. We don’t want bafflegab; we want the truth plain and simple.
