Cruz voted against cloture on Corker. You know that right? Once it passed cloture, it was going to easily pass. His vote meant that it could be debated. Obama acts without authority from congress anyway. Those four facts can’t just be ignored. You have to wrap your head around all four before you can begin to understand why Cruz, Sessions, and Lee voted for Corker.

“His vote meant that it could be debated.”

And you Cruz supporters accuse Trump supporters of being delusional.

Now listen carefully; Cruz’s vote, along with all the Republican senators save the Arkansas senator, passed the Corker bill, which enabled Obama to put the Iranian agreement into effect.

You cannot ever, in U.S. history, locate a bill that was voted on and passed where it only enabled conversation about the bill to take place. That is outrageous.

When a bill is passed, it becomes law. You can debate it until you are blue in the face; it won’t change a thing. The bill is law, and will be law, until the legislature changes it.
