Black Lives Matter protesters vowed Monday to press on with their plan to demonstrate at the Mall of America on the busy shopping day before Christmas Eve, despite the mall's efforts to stop them.

The mall requested a temporary restraining order barring the group from staging its protest Wednesday over the police killing of a black man last month. It is hoping to prevent the type of disruption that thousands of protesters caused last year, when stores had to temporarily close and dozens of people were arrested. [...]

Those behind this year's planned protest at the Mall of America want the authorities to release video of the death of 24-year-old Jamar Clark, who was shot and killed by Minneapolis police on Nov. 15. ...

“And if they still show up, broadcast classical music in the parking lot.”

Hell, play “Dixie” over the loudspeakers...

Along with these demonstrations on private property, they will also be staging thousands of smaller protests inside private homes this year, typically late at night or while the homeowners are at work.

Common signs of these "awareness actions" could be missing jewelry, flatscreen televisions, iPads, broken windowpanes and jimmied locks.

Mr Gray beat up a woman. The paramedics came. Mr Gray started beting them. The Police came. Mr Gray started beating a cop. grabbed for the cops gun.

After shot, Police put handcuffs on Mr. Gray. A few days later he dies.

A witness saw the hand cuffs, said Mr Gray was shot while hand cuffed. I believe the witness was a 10 yo boy out at 1:35 am.

It's private property.

The Minnesota Supreme Court says no. Since the public paid in the neighborhood of 186 million of the cost to construct it, they say it in no way can be considered private property. And I thought Massachusetts was bad.

Actually, some businesses have tried exactly that (playing classical music,) and it works like Kryptonite to Superman.

You’re exactly right; why would anyone expose themselves to such violent savages with nothing to lose? My local Wal-Mart is a hotbed of shoplifting by gibsmedats; by going early in the morning I never see any of that...

Online shopping allows people that matter to further segregate themselves from people that don’t matter.
