You may be referring to NY "socialite" Elizabeth "Lizzie" Grubman who mowed down a bunch of people in the Hamptons while driving her Mercedes SUV back in '01. Entitled ditz is correct.

I always love the use of the term socialite. Basically, it means the privileged child of wealthy parents who doesn't have to work for a living; thus they can spend all their time partying. (see: Hilton, Paris)
