I can remember an incident in Reno decades ago, when Priscilla Ford mowed down pedestrians in Reno. It was a shock. All the more so because it was deliberate. It was 1979...a more innocent era.
The news just announced that "they've ruled out terrorism" (but we the people, in THIS politically correct era, may have to decide if that is fact) and are "leaning" toward the determination it was intentional.
I was just there for an EVE Online conference. Walked that very stretch of pavement.

I remember hearing about the Reno incident and was looking to see if anyone here mentioned it. Very similar and definitely not terrorism.
Remember in November/December of 2001 when a Tampa teen stole a small airplane and crashed it into a bank building? We were assured that it was not terrorism?
His suicide note said otherwise. The word ‘terrorist’ was scratched out (by someone, possibly not the author) and thus did not make the wire reports when it was released to the public several months later. It literally was one of the first words he wrote. If he’s going to scratch things out at that point, you’d think he would just start over.
The Smoking Gun had a photo of the full letter. “These terrorist acts I am about to perform...” or something.
Assurances from the police and government that someone did not claim or engage in terrorism mean nothing to me. They have been proven to have publicly lied in the past.
