Sessions would show the world how Homeland was used to target conservative Americans... Trump should consider Sessions too... or someone Sessions recommends..
Didn't Trump name Cruz when asked about VP spot.
No, he did not.
The reporter asked if he would consider any of his current opponents as VP. He replied that Cruz had been very nice to him or something to that effect. In other words, he sidestepped the question, while seeming to suggest that Cruz would be the one that he might consider.
Sessions spoke at Trump’s big Mobile rally with over 30,000 people. Perhaps Cruz is trying to lure him over to his camp?
In both cases, they were "seeming to suggest".
Good thing for Ted that Trump has pointed out all the issues Ted needed to run upon. It’s like an Avis commercial — we’re Number Two!
Similar to Trump’s comments on Oprah. “According to Donald Trump, a 2016 ticket of Trump for president and Oprah Winfrey for vice president would be a lock for the White House.
“I think Oprah would be great. I’d love to have Oprah,” Trump told ABC News. “I think we’d win easily, actually.”
I would put as AG and then to the supreme court
I’ll ask the same question about this that I ask those who promote Cruz as Trump’s running mate; why would he leave the Senate for a relatively minor position in the administration?
Good point, occurred to me, too. If the wrangles over Cruz's 2013 shamnesty amendment are any indication, the only names that keep coming up consistently in the good guys' column in the Senate are Cruz, Mike Lee, and Jeff Sessions, who is the "go-to guy" on the issue.
The only way taking one of them out of the Senate could be considered a good move would be if his next stop were the White House, or as you pointed out, the vice-presidency.
I'll help him! On weekends. And holidays.
It's completely overrun with muzzle-'ems.
I can’t remember Cruz mentioning a wall being built? Following the leader Ted?
Senate campaign 2011, on youtube— Ted said he would favor “a wall”.
Not a bad idea, not bad at all.
I’d far rather see Sessions be majority leader in the Senate.
Which the supposed “brilliant Constitution and LAW expert” apparently doesn’t know.
‘Senate campaign 2011, on youtubeâ Ted said he would favor âa wallâ.
So five years before he got in the Senate he mentioned we needed a wall built. We he sure seems to have forgotten about it till a week or two ago. It’s never been a big part of his campaign.
Its only illegal if the job offer is made as a reward for political support. In other words, Cruz is just fine to tell people that he thinks Sessions would make a great Homeland Security Secretary. What would be illegal is if he said to Sessions, endorse me and I will appoint you homeland security secretary. Basically this is prohibiting bribing with political jobs.
