Over her birthday weekend, the young queen of pop watched a bomb with her name on it explode after the famed feminist critic Camille Paglia published a shockingly scathing attack on Swift, calling her a blonde, elitist “Nazi Barbie.â€

She is young, smart, self-made, mind-bogglingly successful, in charge, and fiercely independent, both in business and in her personal life; she is unmarried and runs her personal brand with an I-make-my-own-decisions attitude. Swift has power, control, and command of her life, all the things today’s young women are told to pursue.

Taylor definitely has trouble keeping men. She's a smart Girl though, I will give here that.
Taylor Swift is good-looking, smart and a freakin’ marketing genius. She knows exactly what America and its teens are looking for in pop music and she is giving it to them. She’ll become a $ billionaire within the next 5 years, no doubt.
Frustrated, ugly, scabby feminists of course will resent this and will continue to wet themselves in their anger and bitterness.
Ain’t it funny that no cabal of women can claim to have a corner of “feminism.” And when one tries to do that, the result is cat fights.

Times change, I suppose. Although I will say this: after I read the Paglia piece that set this tempest in a teapot off, I will laugh at some of the comments here.
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't one of her hit songs suppose to be about an ex-boyfriend that she came to dislike enough to immortalize in a song?
Sorry, she is pretty and everything to her fans, but not above petty revenge. She is no role model here anyways.

Taylor is pretty, elegant, and likes men.
ALL things the modern feminists are taught to hate and despise, and things they fear they might like - if they were only pretty enough to attract men.
They can tolerate being rich, being on stage or being in the public eye and the public adoration. but liking men?

Like Trump, Taylor has enough `Eff U' money' to tell the left to get bent. She won't parrot their party line.
Can’t stand TS. I just can’t, Then, hearing she wants to trademark 1989, blank space and other phrases, well, yeah, no. If it makes me a jealous feminazi or something, that is OK.
And, she writes a good many of her songs about her exes. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
