Controversy erupted over one of the songs students performed during a Minnesota public high school’s Thursday night holiday concert, “Eid un Sa’Eid – Zain Bhikha.†This Ramadan-inspired song included the phrase “Allahu Akbar,†Arabic for “God is Great,†Minnesota CBS affiliate WCCO 4 reported.
Christian and Jewish songs were reportedly performed by the Blaine High School chorale as was the Arabic song commemorating Ramadan, the Muslim holiday, which took place in June. It was slated to be sung during the audience participation portion of the concert, according to the Anoka-Hennepin School District in Blaine, Minnesota.

Tattoos, Piercings, and pink hair etc are old school. Their parents did all that stuff. Islam is the new shock value.
Id like to know what the Christian songs were. If they are telling the truth then I don’t mind different music being sung. However, I need confirmation that Christian music was really sung and it better be big time Christian music.
BTW, who has time to pray 5 times a day? What if I'm in the middle of a good movie, or #2, and the call for prayer comes on?
The teachers and parents have let these kids down terribly.

I liked the suggestion that after the song ‘Allahu Akbar’, someone should have popped a balloon. And then watched the panic...

That is a religious song which is supposed to be unconstitutional but that only applies to Christians. Inequality before the law.
How about for the annual Ramadan concert, they also sing Silent Night? Think that would go over?
This is bizarre. Ramadan is in June. Why are they singing a Ramadan song in December?
