Many Cruz supporters are concerned that Trump is some closet liberal pulling a giant con to get into the White House.
If Trump is such a giant conservative failure, why is he aligning himself with the most conservative candidate in Cruz? If Trump had more liberal leanings, you would think he would cozy up to Gov. Christie especially in an effort to solidify New York and New Jersey.
Face it. Trump leans very much to the right of most of the candidates.
We are now starting to see the press lean on Cruz's past, voting records and comments specifically on immigration and so far, he's not looking as hot as before IMO.
Newt Gingrich leads Mitt Romney 37% to 22% in Gallup’s inaugural Daily tracking of Republican registered voters’ preferences for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination, with all other candidates in the single digits.

Still painful to remember.
No it’s not the same. A much smaller percentage of people will bother to vote in a caucus. You have to go there on a midwinter night, and stand around for hours being counted. So it’s at least as much a measure of intensity as numbers. Santorum won last time with a little under 30,000 votes, about the size of a Trump rally.
Moreover when you poll “likely caucus voters” you exclude a lot of people who haven’t bothered in the past because they really weren’t enthusiastic about any of the candidates. A lot of those people are very enthusiastic about Trump, and a big part of the Trump ground game is getting those people to go.
Trump may or may not win Iowa, but it’s a completely different ballgame than primaries. That’s why the winner in Iowa so often fails once they hit the primary states where the vast majority of delegates are selected.
And I will remind you that NONE of them, EVER, led for this amount of time; led in multiple states (let alone ALL states as Trump has); or led this late. Mittens had already replaced Newt at the top of the national polls in December. None of those people could simultaneously lead in such disparate states as IA, NH, TX, GA, and SC.
And Trump is losing by 10% to Hilary Clinton in the NBC poll too. And now losing by 11% to Hilary in the Fox News poll as well. Not good.
Yeah, that's why Ted Cruz is rising in the polls every day.
What polls are those from the last 2 weeks?
I realize that and NOBODY has said otherwise; have they ?
Ask the GOP if anything this election cycle has been anything like past election cycles?
Taken into context of the 5 polls I posted one must conclude that this poll is an outlier.
Yes but Ted “Surging” Cruz is catching up right? He’s only down 21 and surging right? He is behind Trump everywhere but he’s surging right?

Getting lapped.
SPOT ON !
This Fox poll replaces the old Fox poll you are talking about and yes RCP listed that old Fox poll too. Try again.
It’s the truth and factual. :-)
It’s most assuredly much more civil and nicer, even more polite than what many of the Cruz supporters have been and continue to post.
