WASHINGTON (AP) -- Closing out a tumultuous year, President Barack Obama sought to lay the groundwork Friday for his last year in office by vowing not to fade in the background but instead use his remaining months to push longstanding goals to fruition.
"In 2016, I'm going to leave it all out on the field," he said. "Wherever there's an opportunity, I'm going to take it."

"Three days and three nights" is not the sign here. It's a sailor's warning.
Taking one step back in the process, in looking at verses (1-3, and 4) together, why did Jonah end up in the water in the first place?!
The storm. The *sailors* were desperate to calm the seas.
Jonah 1:11 Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
Jonah 1:12 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
Jonah 1:13 Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.
Jonah 1:14 Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.
Jonah 1:15 So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
I don't know of if anyone has connected the two, like you have just now.
Obama will be behind the scenes and on every TV channel until the day he dies. NO WAY his ego will let his revolution go on without him. He has infected every level of government with young minions that will do exactly what he wants. Unless a brave republican gets in office and fires every single government employee the Obamanation will continue.

Sailors are skilled sea travelers/navigators, experts in the laws of the sea so to speak.
They first tried to apply their own understanding, tossing supplies overboard, attempting to row to land, but..
