“That’s about as reasonable as expecting people to deliver their own letters after the postal service shuts down.”

Postal service is one of the few gubmint services allowed, so it must be kept.

It will eventually be phased out with the advancements in technology. In the meantime, it can stay.

I so hope not as I love to write letters. There is nothing more exciting than getting a package or a letter. How will we get those things if it shuts down?

If the U.S. postal system were to completely disappear in the next second, it would take about 2 nanoseconds for the private sector to solve the problem! Fed Ex and UPS ( and many other smaller delivery services) are already at the gate and waiting for the starter gun.

If an alien space ship were to hover over the U.S.A. and suck up every government school there would be chaos for about 2 weeks. That's all.

There is **one** exception! Mormons would have schools organized within 2 hours staffed with highly educated and qualified volunteer teachers and ready to open the next day.
