Ban guns. All guns. Get rid of guns in homes, and on the streets, and, as much as possible, on police. Not just because of San Bernardino, or whichever mass shooting may pop up next, but also not not because of those. Don't sort the population into those who might do something evil or foolish or self-destructive with a gun and those who surely will not. As if this could be known--as if it could be assessed without massively violating civil liberties and stigmatizing the mentally ill. Ban guns! Not just gun violence. Not just certain guns. Not just already-technically-illegal guns. All of them.
I used to refer to my position on this issue as being in favor of gun control. Which is true, except that "gun control" at its most radical still tends to refer to bans on certain weapons and closing loopholes. The recent New York Times front-page editorial, as much as it infuriated some, was still too tentative. "Certain kinds of weapons, like the slightly modified combat rifles used in California, and certain kinds of ammunition, must be outlawed for civilian ownership," the paper argued, making the case for "reasonable regulation," nothing more. Even the rare ban-guns arguments involve prefacing and hedging and disclaimers. "We shouldn't 'take them away' from people who currently own them, necessarily," writes Hollis Phelps in Salon. Oh, but we should.

Successfully ban evil first. Then maybe guns can be banned.
Do it, do it, do it!
CW-II is coming anyway, and best get it over sooner rather than later.
Remember all, liberals are the enemy...and they won’t have guns.
Needle guns?
Let me spell it out for you.
The Second Amendment is not only settled law, it was one of a group of Amendments to the Constitution of these United States which were essential to the ratification of that Constitution.
Without the Bill of Rights, there would have been no United States. Period.
It is that seminal an issue as law goes, and the legitimacy of any Federal power depends on that compact.
It is a keystone to the agreement between We the People and the Government we empowered.
Remove that keystone and the arch collapses. The contract will be breached, the deal will become null and void. As one of the people, whether you decide to reclaim the power you have ceded to the Federal Government under such circumstances is up to you. Surely, someone will if you don't. There are members of the People who will reclaim that power, and if force of arms becomes necessary, such people will do what they have to do to retain their God-given (unalienable) Rights.
As an apparent city-dweller who believes you or others like you can decree reality, you would be gobsmacked by the simple realities of rural America and the attitudes therein.
You see, rural America doesn't have to fire a shot to win.
We just stop growing food for you, close the valves, block the interchanges, and pull the breakers.
Maybe you would not have such a look of disdain for those who make your coddled existence possible if you had to grow your lunch in the window boxes and vacant lots.
Beat the rush. buy a shovel.
And they think they're in control of them. Won't they be surprised.
Agreed senor Laz, I can usually sense the underlying sexuality smoldering underneath their anger. An anger which is only really masking their vulnerability and lonely life and desire for my services.
In this case, I see only the cold dead eyes of an NKVD agent, a Nazi death camp worker, or one of Pol Pots cadres. That is exactly the face that close to 200 million people saw in the genocides of the last century. Does anyone doubt what final solution she would suggest for those who resist?
I would hit it......with a 2 x 4.
So, Phoebe, how’s that smack habit goin’?
She looks like a user.
Peepee Schmaltz Bovine.
“This is silly. We should just ban murder. Why worry about a particular implement? If we banned murder then nobody would do it, with a gun or with anything else. Because obviously, if we pass a law then that makes it so.”
No, don’t stop there! Ban humans. If all humans are banned, there will be zero percent chance they can do ANY evil or wrong. No- More- Humans!!! Ban- Humans- Now!!!
Yes and so do all leftists. Once SHTF, I suspect that it will be ugly for all of them.
>> It wonât be JBT, it will be Hellfire missiles fired from Drones 20,000 feet in the air.
They will be asking for asymmetrical warfare against their soft targets if they start THAT crap.
Judges have families. Congressmen have interns and office staff. Key federal employees can disappear on the way to work and turn up a hundred miles away in five gallon buckets. It’s simply not possible to protect them all.
I pray it won’t come to that. I’m confident it won’t come to that. A reawakening of America’s Judeo-Christian morals is a MUCH better solution than civil war.
These womyn spend half their lives working to make sure they have the right to terminate their own babies. Do you think they give a damn about what happens to a couple million rednecks?
LOL!
>> That is exactly the face that close to 200 million people saw in the genocides of the last century.
Nailed it.
Wow. Yikes. Maybe she should look into the Charlie Hebdo shooting in France, where they have some of the strictest gun control. Does she recall that unarmed officer executed in the street?
Or how about France’s multilocation massacre with firearms?
Seriously, she needs some common sense and do some actual research. This article was purely emotional drivel.
I’ll bet the Brits wish they had done that back in 1775.
She looks irritated at being confused all the time because she doesn’t know much and can’t think logically.
That would bother me also, but I don’t have any of those deficits.
And her being slightly cock-eyed probably doesn’t help either.
Looks like my schizophrenic ex-girlfriend.
It will come to that. Over this or something else.
The last Argument of Kings always gets rolled out when the nobles get nervous. Heck, they are already DOING this overseas to people with much less restraint than anyone else on the planet.
