why did a handful of D’s vote against, like Sanders? Not enough spend for them?

UPDATE: Here's the vote count. All they needed was a simple majority to pass it. They clearly got much more than that.

Looks like they were kinda making a statement.

Johnson from Wisconsin just gave up his seat to Russ Feingold. Shame and Disgrace. All of them!

Burr voted no because he is up for re-election; Tillis voted yes because he is not up for re-election.

My representatives are irrelevant to me x two yrs. I do not contact them any more. They might as well be dead

Roberts (KS) is a yes. Not surprised a bit. He’s rubbing our nose in not getting rid of him last year.

They think we are STUPID! Burr (R-NC) voted against, he is up for reelection next year...Tillis (R-NC), elected in 2014, voted for! You do the math! (At least my Rep. Walter Jones voted against, for all the good it did.)

I see our freshman Senator Gardner from CO voted in favor. Interestingly enough, it was the Tea Party that got him elected. I’ll be voting for the Democrat who runs against him next chance I get.

Why bother voting Republican? I’d rather just vote Democrat because I don’t have mixed feelings when I hate a Democrat for selling out my children’s future.

I feel hugely betrayed by Roberts. How do you remove a Senator who was just reelected?

I just called my Senators office and said I felt very very VERY betrayed by his support of that gigantic spending bill.

“And what does it do? It jacks up yet more low-skilled immigration, which will only drag down wages, kill American jobs, and hurt working men and women.”

“Drag down wages....” Exactly Ted. To get the wages of Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. all on a level playing field.

McNuts and McFlake voted against. They must have gotten a kitchen pass to vote that way, because I’m 100% sure both are glad it passed.
