Read a book. Seriously. Which would you recommend?

My most recent one is 'Jack Hinson One Man War', a true story of a revenge fueled civil war sniper, researched by a ex-military officer/writer.
It's a story about a fairly benign 57 y/o landowner in Tennesse who's two young (mid-teen) sons are killed and beheaded by Union soldiers (the heads were then posted on the landowners fence posts).
The man is then pulled into the war and kills nearly 100 union officers, etc. with a specially made .50 cal muzzleloader. Some of the shots are at an estimated 600 yards.
It's a worthwhile read.
