Many of Trump’s supporters — likely most — are good conservatives (though not all — he does draw from liberals too.) But Trump himself is a progressive populist. He’s conservative on some things, but definitely NOT conservative on a number of issues.
I think he’s extremely “conservative” on most issues that matter, like the second amendment. And the icing is the fact he is absolutely dominating the national polls. That means he is the candidate most likely to secure both wins. If we don’t get a win-win we have nothing.
