Utopians could be another term to describe leftists and liberals. That describes people who cannot see or face reality. They strive for something that is impossible....a perfect world.
Since man is imperfect and can never be perfect, a perfect world on earth can never be realized.
They know they cant make a perfect world, but they want to be in charge while “attempting” to do it. Knowing full well they won’t. Their entire strategy is to be in the small elite controlling everything, there are plenty of worker bees underneath that are happy with less control and smaller life goals, that will abuse whatever small amount of control they have to keep things in line.
