Au contraire. Can you recall who said that lie? That is the exact opposite of reality. The defense motioned for a change of venue because it would be an unfair trial, whereas the prosecution argued to keep it in Baltimore (and won) knowing the jury pool had a better chance of finding guilt in this kangaroo court. If this were moved outside Baltimore, its most likely the police would be acquitted much quicker based on the facts.
This prosecution is amateurish and politically motivated to hang innocent cops.
I see your point; I guess we won’t know unless we know how the individual jurors were leaning. To me the city’s payment to the “victim” should have made it imperative to move it.
Again, this was supposed to be the easy one - and they didn’t get convictions on ANY of the charges.
