No. A hung jury is a mistrial and may be retried. Multiple times, as long as each trial results in a hung jury/mistrial, and the state is willing to allocate the funds. Imho.

Hmmm. Mis-trial isn’t the defendants fault. But I think you might be right. That’s fked up.
