Trump sucked all the oxygen out of the room. His bold strokes on immigration, deporting all illegals and securing the borders, even a moratorium on Muslims sets a high standard the others can’t cope with. Anything less looks weak. He’s hitting all the strokes we the people are wanting hit.

Agree. Before Trump got into the race, Cruz’s stance on immigration was probably one of the strongest of all the other candidates in the race, and yet it wasn’t really strong at all. Trump’s bold proposal made that glaringly obvious.

But Jim, Trump is not a true conservative. Haven't you read the posts here the past several days where Freepers have indicated they won't vote for Trump if he's at the top of the GOP ticket?

For the record, I am supporting either Trump or Cruz. Anyone else is just a repeat of 2008 and 2012.

I’d like to see the main debate limited to people with double-digit poll numbers: Trump, Cruz, Carson, and Rubio. Put everybody else in the kiddie slot.
