I’m an old Californian too, fifth generation SF Bay Area. I remember SF and Marin back in the Sixties. It had some balance then.
By the Eighties, I’d walk around hearing people laugh about how they hadn’t met an actual Californian all day, it was getting flooded with lefties from everywhere else. That’s when I started to feel like I was living under an occupation force.
I wonder where the lefties came from?
Nowadays, the lefties come FROM California! Between the liberal schools and government and grown up hippies, kids don’t have a chance.
