I agree with having Cruz, Rubio, and Trump on stage. Everyone else is just a distraction. The GOPe does not want Cruz or Trump, so they are fine with having the other candidates in there to try to take them out.
I would add Carson based on the polls, but Cruz, Carson, Rubio and Trump should be the only ones on the stage. Maybe whoever is in 5th as well, but no more than 5.

Yep. The difference between the smaller JV debate and the big debate is quite striking. Way too many people on the stage now.
