With all due respect, Mr. Cruz, and I do mean that sincerely, our enemy is NOT radical islam.
Our enemy is islam. islam is the root from which the evil we face springs.
As long as islam spreads, evil and terror will spread with it. It is that simple, sir.
islam itself, by its very nature is radical. to say radical islam is redundant, and it further implies that there is some other form of islam that is not radical, and that gives islam the cover it needs to spread.
If we do not have the courage to accurately name our enemy, then we already lost.
