Mark Levin spent three hours tonight trashing Trump over his remarks about Ted Cruz, among other things. Levin failed to mention Cruz's attack on Trump behind closed doors with his donors, which he first denied, until an audio popped up proving Cruz did in fact make the comments he denied.

Behind closed doors, that's where politicians function best - Ted Cruz is no different. It may be tiring the way Trump puts it all out there, and I feel sure he is outgrowing that, but after Obamacare and so many other things, I will never ever ever support another politician who says one thing when the door is closed and another when the little people are listening in. I remember when Levin loved Rubio. Remember this? “he’s a true conservative”. Mark Levin is right on sometimes and full of chit other times. You have to differentiate. I take Levin with a grain of salt on this. Its a tempest in a teapot and he and Rush have let themselves be sucked in.

You need to sit back and remember why it is we want a conservative in the White House. Who cares which one it is?

Personally, I don't trust people, especially politicians, who are one way behind closed doors and another way when they go public. It isn't conservative to backstab behind closed doors, and then lie about. At least not in my mind.

You will find little fair analysis, unfortunately.

The quality of Levin's analysis must be considered and judged in the context that he is a polemicist. Even so, I think his analysis most of the time is reasonably fair and indisputably well grounded in the Constitution and recent history.

I do fault him for his churlish behavior with callers who disagree with him. In my judgment he loses credibility every time he demeans a caller. But even this fault demonstrates his conservative bona fides which is really the issue that was raised.

Just as Mark Levin must be made wrong for Trump to the right so must Mark Levin's conservatism be attacked to make Donald Trump acceptable.

Ted Cruz is not one of them and he is scorned by the “movers and shakers” in D.C. Ted Cruz may not be perfect but he is a hell of a lot better than 90% of the Tea Party Conservatives we sent to D.C. in the last 6 years who turned out to be minor or major disappointments.

I like both Cruz and Trump and don;t get all the Freeper whining about either Cruz and Trump being horrible. For the first time in Practically EVER, we have a solid conservative and a seemingly populist conservative running and they are #2 and #1 in the polls!

I concur. Since January 1989 the country has been governed from the top by globalist elitists. Every campaign has been crafted and choreographed to further these globalist ends, and we now see how destructive this has been to the core of our Republic: the great Middle Class.

What drives this campaign, I believe, for many patriots is what we are trying to prevent - a continuation. No, and HELL NO! Although Cruz says much that we applaud, his past support for McConnell, the Chamber, TPA, Iran deal, his wife with the Council on Foreign Relations and Goldman Sachs, advocating for 500,000 additional H1-B immigrant visas, giving $200,000 from his Leadership PAC to the NRSC & Carly, grandstanding at the border with Glenn Beck & a horde of teddy bears, and his huge funding from heavyweight Robert Mercer are all enough to make me sufficiently nervous that he isn't the guy to stop this freight train heading toward the cliff.

Ted Cruz accomplished delegitimizing Obama Care and set up the Republican victory in 2014. I am worried the Trump is setting up the Republican defeat in 2016. Ted Cruz unmasked the Republican establishment for what it was and made clear to all conservatives how Washington was operating.

That is what Ted Cruz accomplished while Donald Trump has accomplished nothing, according to your test, and threatens everything.

He went to the senate and performed for his state and has done so by the rules of the senate.

He didn’t fall in line like Mitch McConnell’s butt boys and betray his state.

The senate would be more healthy if every senator was MORE like Ted Cruz.

Trump is a bigtime NY schmoozer. You can cajole to get things accomplished, and he will. There's a difference between cajoling and selling out your principles ... Trump will go to the public if he can't get Reid on board... Unfortunately, I don't think Cruz can do that.
