I might be able to say something constructive, but I’m a bit hacked at you for what I see as unfairness.
I’m not surprised at his disappointment with Scalia and affirmative action. Trump has a bit of support from blacks, he’s had a recent meeting with some leaders of that community, and his public response here is a balancing act.
My opinion on affirmative action is that it was clearly necessary when first implemented and not so much now. The real issue now is family structure and its impact on support for education.
So far as Trump attacking Cruz over being a senate wackobird (McCain?), I think Trump is appealing to the supporters of Bush, Christie, et al, who will soon peel off due to the dismal performances of their candidates.
Trump wants them. He’s working to gain market share NOT by peeling off Cruz supporters, who aren’t affected by his reminding about Cruz aggressiveness in the Senate, but by taking the supporters of the other candidates who will leave them the longer their candidate maintains dismal numbers.
Affirmative action was always the means to take from one person and give such to anyone who claimed they had rights and privileges due them because of past inequities. Forgotten intentionally was that many persons over the years of settlers in the US was that most immigrants worked their butts off during the depression and great war years to earn being part of the US exceptionalism.
this pandering that you are so willing to now call brilliant and strategic is what I thoght we were hacked off at the GOP establishment for.
Apparently our principles are situational depending on who we are talking about. Sorry NOT ME. Truth is truth, period, and when Donald Trump is true, I support him, but when he’s full of bullshit, especially liberal bullshit or establishment bullshit, I will not.
