Cruz cannot.

Why do you guys -- there are several of you -- keep saying that? Do you think the media can really take out a well-sorted-out and veteran campaigner like Cruz?

Ted Cruz is better prepared than Sarah Palin was to handle the Katie Couric media types who live to stick knitting needles in better people's eyes. Couric had 36+ hours of prep for her short interview with Palin, making witch-doctor medicine with a couple of CFR yokozuna types, cooking up super-nasty foreign policy questions to ask Palin: Did anyone do that to small-state governor Slick Willie, or Black Messiah Never Been Nowhere Barack Obama? But it was super-important to ask questions like that of Sarah.

Ted Cruz won't put up with crap like that. He's like a wire-haired terrier, sharp enough and fast enough to snap it off and school the person trying to hurt him. He can definitely take care of himself, as he showed in the second GOP debate, when he came down hard on the "moderators" and started a candidate riot that burned the studio down.

I think you're selling Ted Cruz short. What does it take to establish his credibility with you guys? Does he have to get gunned down by a professional assassin, before you guys begin to believe that the Establishment takes him seriously, and not as a contingent threat, but as a real, live, immediate threat to their power?

Cruz has another advantage over Donald Trump: Trump, having come up through gambling and real estate, has a flexy, easy-peasy view of the law and a dim view of other people, who are just his daily meat. Cruz, on the other hand, worked for Chief Justice Rehnquist and has a very clear view of the law. He won't go all Napoleon on you at 3:00 in the morning.

Of the two of these men, which is the "living Constitution" fan who's lived his whole life bending laws and people? Which is the one likely to serve the People and our liberty? Which one is a Tenth Amendment guy who's willing to start chipping barnacles and all that vested-interest money off the ship of state, and start undoing the malicious damage that Lyndon Johnson did 50 years ago?

Who's your guy? Don't tell me "he can't do it". Give him a chance. Don't sell him short the way Rockefeller and the billionaire e-GOP did Barry, and the way they tried to do Ronnie, painting him into a corner again and again, just to see him smile and shrug them off. (God, they hated Ronnie -- and Barbara complains to this day, Nancy wouldn't invite her and

--wups! (Phone call) her and George to the White House family quarters while the Reagans were in residence. But while shut out of the family wing, the Bushies were overrunning the basement offices and doing what they wanted during the Reagan years, which is what they extorted their way onto the ticket to do, to get at the crony money and slop, and shovel it out to their undeserving centimillionaire friends.

You might want to start paying attention how Trump times his comments to keep Hillary’s problems out of the news.

Heck of a plannin' stragedy!
