They have no idea how our politics work. An American Conservative is a 19-Century Classical Liberal—not a national socialist or a monarchist. So right off the bat, the words they use are not the words we mean.
I say this as a 22-year USAF veteran, who spent considerable time in many of THEIR countries protecting them so they didn’t spend all their treasure on defending THEMSELVES. They got to spend their money on so-called socialist peace, love and happiness.
When I lived among them, I let them know this. If they wouldn’t shut up about it, I told ‘em to talk to the hand—I weren’t listening. I chose my Australian, British, German and Italian friends among those who understood.
