I don’t really care how “conservative” our next president is on every single issue. They all lie to get into office anyway.

I want Trump because he’s funding his own campaign and is beholden to no one, and because the GOPe and the media are against him. They’re scared of him because they can’t control him, which tells me he’s different right there.

If you don’t care whether we have a conservative in office, you’re part of the problem.

Well, for me it's about values. I'm a conservative. Trump is not. He's a one-trick pony. He's a reality TV star. He's a thrice married, statists crony who has turned on those who have enriched him in the media and enriched him with the cozy relationship he's had with the Democrat Party. So we agree. He's different, very different. He's probably never read a conservative book or magazine. He became a conservative for situational reasons, not reason, not emotion, not out of profound respect for the values we hold dear.

He's mercurial and it's anyone's guess what the real Trump really believes. Just a couple of months ago he was proclaiming himself a lover of Muslims. Who knows where or what the real Trump's values are?
