Are you not by your own admission and in your own words are saying ( as Ted CRUZ as your back up, saving face insurance policy 2nd choice ) that Trump won’t get the GOP nomination ? Yes or no ?

It shows, its a sign you do in fact has your own doubts about Donald Trump.
In a word no. At this time I have no doubts that Trump would be the best choice nor do I doubt that he can win. Only an idiot would have not evaluated the other candidates before deciding. That means that there is someone whom I didn’t like as much for whatever reason but is the best of the other candidates by my reckoning. Absent a crystal ball you can’t rule out sickness, accident or crime so it pays to keep up on other possible candidates in case there is a need.
Nothing at all to do with doubt just prudence.
