A genetic test is interesting, but since most of the people around there are basically the same (Jews and the people of Palestine are both semitic) I wonder what they are looking for? A religion gene?
I think they are probably looking at the mitochondrial DNA. While the many Semitic people are descendants of Abraham, they are not descendents of Sarah.
