The appeal of Trump that eludes his critics has always been his unabashed nationalism. Nationalism is a dirty word among the intellectualoids of today, but it strikes deep into the hearts of true Americans. That is why he doesn’t need to be a doctrinaire conservative to win conservative votes. In times of existential crisis, nationalism trumps ideology.

He also know how to connect with a very diverse spectrum of the population and he can speak to typical Democrat constituenceies in a positive constructive fashion.
Democrats like Hillary, Pelosi and Obama consider their base to be little more than stupid children incapable of managing their own lives and making their own life decisions so they must live on the Democrat's “it Takes A Village” Plantation and let there betters in the Democrat Party manage their lives for them.
The Democrat motto is ,”never underestimate the stupidity of the American voter” and “we use the stupidity and economic illiteracy of the American voter against them” children treat their base with disrespect and contempt, Trump treats them with respect he does not have have
The Democrats have nothing but contempt for the American Middle Class and they are actively trying to destroy the American Middle Class and replace it with a society made up of an ignorant and idle proletariat ruled by self described Elites (i.e. - Them)
Donald Trump treats Americans like adults and he is doing the job the Media and the Republicans are not doing.
On the other hand Donald Trump is a very sophisticated and experienced media manipulator and more than just a little bit of a demagogue.
Trump is also the best populist politician that America has seen since Huey Long. Unlike most populist pols, Trump is a highly skilled manager and negotiator and a Wharton B-School educated billionaire who has talent for getting things done and getting his way
I have no doubt that Trump will get a border fence built in record time.
I am also 100% certain that Trump follow through on his promise to have Mexico build and pay for the fence.
How can we be 100% certain that Trump will have Mexico build and pay for the fence.
The reason we can be sure Trump will follow through is very simple and perfectly demonstrates Trumps genius for getting things done. That reason is because having Mexico build the fence is the only way that fence will ever get built - and by having Mexico build it on their side of the border is the only way the job will get done quickly and and cheaply.
Mexico is a sovereign country and, if Trump can hard ball negotiate a mutually beneficial agreement to build the fence (which he can) Mexico can build the fence on their side of the border in record time at a fraction of the cost our moronic and corrupt crony government can build it.
If we try to there will be the usual obstructionist law suits for everything under the sun from lunatic civil rights claims, to NIMBY driven civil suits, to bogus claims of environmental destruction that will tie the construction up in court for decades. Regardless , there will have to be environmental impact studies and so on and so forth.
Give Trump the credit for recognizing that it's all but impossible for the Government to get anything done quickly or efficiently , even when it really, really wants to - and very few in Congress really wants that fence to ever get built.
Trump's solution to have Mexico do the job for us to get the job done quickly and cheaply is a brilliant example of Trump's creative talent for actually getting things done. As President,Trump has the clout to simply force Mexico to comply, but he will probably come up with some deal that will make it in Mexico's self interest to do so, probably by paying Mexico out of a DHS discretionary account to administer and patrol the fence to the tune of several hundred million a year, a healthy percentage of which Mexico's pols can skim right off of the top to make up for the lost revenues from the coyotes and drug cartels.
Now that kind df proposal will definitely get the favorable attention of more than a few high level government officials South of the Border. .They also say Trump knows that's it impossible and that it is just more boob bait for the bubba's that will never happen, so Trump e is just talking trash and pandering to the bitter clingers in fly over country.
However, if you buy into the above analysis, there is a good chance THEY are the ones who don't get it because of their Washington Establishment Belt Way mindset and group think.
Looked at from the perspective of someone who seriously wants to get a border built in record time without turing the job of actual construction of the fence into a cost and schedule over run and litigation nightmare that rivals Teddy Kennedy's 20 year behind schedule and 20 billion dollars over budget Big Dig boondoggle , then Trumps "crazy" plan to have Mexico build the border fence in record time at and no cost to America is not so crazy after all.
Instead , a serious analysis of Trump's plan demonstrates that Trump may have come up with a brilliant plan,to pull an end run around Washington's obstructionist special interests and second agendas not necessarily in the best interest's of the American people and actually get the border fence built in record time instead of not in our life time if the US Government tries to get the wall built.
Not only is Trumps Border Fence Plan a serious proposal, it may actually be the only truly workable way to cut through political obstructionism and government red tape to actually get a Border Fence built and get control of the border so we can seriously deal with the illegal alien issue in a constructive fashion.
Regardless, there are going to be a lot of chickens coming home to roost after eight years of destructive and irresponsible leadership and it's pretty obvious that Obama strategy is to cover up his total failure as President and bankrupt the country with massive, unsustainable borrowing toto fool the American people into a false sense pf security and normalcy and float the country and delay any economic crisis until after he has left office.
The next President is going to have to make hard decisions and act ruthlessly in the sole interests of the United States.
This Trump can do better than any other candidate, especially if we have another economic warfare attack on the country like we had in September 2008.
In the final analysis, Trumps interest's are aligned with those of the American people
