Excellent post.

I agree completely. Trump is the only one that can handle congress and neuter the media.

He is the ONLY one that can turn this mess around.

I know it. My gut tells me that when Americans - REAL Americans, not the PC feminized hollow nothings - walk into that voting booth, no matter what doubts and contemptuous lies the Washington establishment and media spin masters have put into their heads, they will suddenly have their “get real” moment ... When it comes time to actually pull that lever, to blacken that oval, True Americans will have two things, and ONLY two things, beating down the door of their conscience:

1.) The safety and security of my family and my country
2.) Whether I will be able to keep a roof over our heads

Every other issue will fade into the grayness.

Now, think long and hard about that proposition. Because, I know, from experience, that those two concerns always come to the forefront when you are in that little voting space, with nobody else but you and your own conscience.

Ted Cruz is not going to keep us safe, and he is not going to restore prosperity. He’s a lawyer - not a financial genius, who has fought mega battles in boardrooms or in the corner offices of City Hall ... Senator Cruz is a first term senator, with to much of a “play fair” mindset.

Nobody is going to be intimidated by Ted Cruz. That should be patently obvious by now. He’s too “nice,” too diplomatic - too much for “dialogue” - and, honestly, too “Christian,” to get his hands dirty. Can yo picture Cruz physically wrestling the establishment bastards down to the mat in a no-holds barred street fight? Oh, sure - he might “debate” them to death - but debating skills are not what is needed right now. This country has arterial bleeding. And “debating skills” are not something to be found in the tool kit of triage! We need a tourniquet, and perhaps an amputation - not a never ending nasal dialogue about first aid techniques!

Cruz speaks with a nasally preaching voice - and it grates on the ears. His preachy speeches fail to compel one to action. He does not come across as having the “survival instinct.”

Does anybody here believe that Cruz would actually drop a nuke on an enemy, let alone threaten such action, if need be? I don’t. His scruples would never allow him to do so. I can almost guarantee that Cruz would be more concerned of what the Christian Right would have to say about the “morality” of such an action.

I have no doubts in my mind, whatsoever, that Donald Trump would kick the living crap out of anyone that would dare to mess with America - on any subject, economic or security ...

I have no doubt, whatsoever, that Donald Trump’s oft impugned “ego” will compel him to do whatever it takes to keep his promises about “Making America Great Again” ... And I do not mean that in a xenophobic “nationalist” way; but rather in a restorative, “put us back on the right track” way. Cruz would be scouring for a biblical passage to justify every action; he would need to first consult with several pastors before making a move ... we no longer have the luxury for this sort of “over-scrupulous soul searching before taking any action type of mindset.” And I believe that is exactly what we will get if Ted Cruz were the nominee.

It comes down to the alpha vs beta male thing - and I see Cruz as a submissive puppy dog, compared to Trump’s “wolf pack” ... Have you ever read the book “The Call of the Wild”? The protagonist is a sled dog, Buck - a natural leader. That is how I view Donald Trump. I do not see that quality in Cruz. No matter his lofty speechifying on the Constitution, Senator Cruz is unable to dispel the gut sense I have that he is not the right man for the BIG CHAIR.
