Completely agree. The Nazis and Communists are kicking themselves for not thinking of this. Think what they could have accomplished if they had wrapped their ideology in a cloak of religion.

The Nazis did try that, they took over churches in Germany, replaced the crosses with swastikas, and replaced the Bibles with copies of “Mein Kampf”.
Modern neo-nazis also try this occasionally, especially in the U.S., because they want the extra protections and tax benefits. Two notable groups are “Church of the Creator” (they are actually quite atheistic, but call themselves a church), and the Christian Identity/Aryan Nations movement, who reinterpret the Bible with a racial agenda.
The commies are probably a bit too hostile to religion to even think of trying it, luckily.
