Interesting remarks Finny. Trump is a producer. He has built many wonderful things for individuals to enjoy. Politicians are parasites. They have built this -
and they will keep taking and forcing, and taking and forcing, and taking and forcing, etc., etc., much like every government throughout history.
Trump doesn’t need the money or my money. Money is the lifeblood of parasites - er politicians. They take it by force.
I have watched the least amount of TV of any person I know. We didn’t have one in our house until I was 7 (1957). There was only 1 house on our block (that I know) that had a TV. I haven’t watched TV in 4-5 years. Most of my adult life I worked. I worked a lot. Most of the time a full-time and a part-time job. Some years a full-time and 2 or 3 part time jobs. I still work (but the least I have ever worked) - only a full-time job. I wouldn’t watch TV even if Donald Trump was on. It does not interest me.
As for a choice between Cruz and Trump - I’ll take Trump.

Who is Don Galt?
Either way, photos and footage of those gorgeous buildings makes great media imagery, a lot better than a bunch of discount tire outlets, a "What'sApp" smart phone ap, or Amazon, although the brilliant minds behind all of those things are measurably MUCH smarter than Trump judging by Trump's own gage of wealth in billions, the confirmation of one's skill in "the art of the deal."
In comparison to the guys who really know how to do it, Trump is third-rate. The difference is that he's got a media persona and a bunch of inspirational books to make America think he's "at the top." In truth, he's fairly well down on the list.
According to the MSM brand image, Trump "has built many many wonderful things for individuals to enjoy." In truth of fact, as of 2011, he had declared corporate bankruptcy four times. That means some creditors likely went unpaid, jobs were likely lost -- some "producer."
You can try to change the subject to the flaws of politicians, but it is only avoidance tactic. Stick to the subject of the myth that Trump is "brilliant in business and that's why he's famous."
If you want to change the subject and look at flaws of politicians, then look at your own politician Trump and see how he has YUGELY exaggerated his net worth. Among other things, the Forbes' article linked observes is that Trump ... also consistently pushes for a higher net worth -- especially when it comes to the value of his personal brand."
A "producer" of brand images where the image alone is worth billions?
Trump is famous, and people think he's a "producer," because Trump for 10 years crafted that brand image for himself via the MSM. In point of fact, he is third-rate in the context of America's entrepreneur billionaires, and in his specific realm of real estate mogul billionaires, he is also third-rate. But HE is the only one among them who has established a celebrity presence on TV and written self-help inspiration books on how to amass wealth.
Admitting the truth is very difficult for many, and that truth is that the only reason people think Donald Trump is a great businessman, is because he marketed himself that way. If he was famous because of his great business acumen, then the real estate moguls who out-produce him as much as quadruple, would be four times as famous. But you have never heard of them. They don't have the "brand" image that Trump does ... yet they're worth a LOT more than he is.
How could they have accomplished so much more without the brand image that Trump values so highly in terms of his own success?
Trump is a creating and creature of the MSM, and has a documented 26-year history of leaning left-moderate in politics and has switched political parties thrice during that time.
Truth is truth. Look it in the eye and stop changing the subject.
