Great post.

You wouldn’t invite a stranger, especially a hostile, suspicious, or dangerous one, into your home. So why would you invite one into your country?

We have borders for the same reason we have doors.

If I were in charge of immigration, in addition to banning those who are obviously hostile to the US, I would require a sponsor for every single person admitted to the country. That sponsor would be responsible for supporting the admitted person and any children that person produced.

So if you’re a company and want to bring these people over for cheap labor, you should add in the cost of housing, welfare, food stamps, public education, health care, etc., and not expect the taxpayer to pick up the bill. Same for democrat groups or fake “charities” that want to import the underprivileged because they are so “compassionate” but whose compassion disappears when it’s time to pay the expenses of the imported person and leave that to the taxpayer.
