I’m against Christian Syrians and Iraqis and other third worlders emigrating here for a significant period of time too.
They need to fight for their country in their country and take leadership roles there in their country.
I’ll make an exception if a French scientist cures cancer, but that’s pretty much my only reason to give someone a long term visa until we as a nation are confident we rooted out the invading army present since 1965.
Spiritually, the Christians are “good karma” (to borrow a term) to have. I think many of them want to do good where they are, but also know when a retreat needs to be beaten. I would allow freedom of choice in their case, but not insane government incentives.
