Rudy Guiliani was on Fox and Friends this morning.

He stated Trump’s proposed ban is a violation of the First Amendment and the freedom of religion. There can be no religious test.

How stupid is that?

Muslims overseas don’t have any inherent right to 1)
emigrate to America and 2) are not covered in any way by our Constitution.

Not only that it is the Constitution that gives solely to Congress the right to set immigration and naturalization laws, and any test they desire is within their sole purvey to apply.

Guiliani agreed with some of of Trump’s ideas about monitoring the mosques and admitted he did after 9/11 in NYC, and Bloomberg expanded it after Guiliani left office (Whoa!).

But here is a worldwide security consultant who gets the Constitution wrong.

Trump is right.

So far, Steve Doocy said the people writing in to Fox and Friends this morning agree with Trump—90% agree.

Roger Ailes must have blood streaming out of wherever.

I think Rudy will come around but it appears that many people, particularly authority figures like Rudy and the media, are traumatized and in shock by Trump's announcement. Trump has knocked them back on their heels.

Yesterday, Trump shattered the paradigm of denying reality in favor of political correctness.

It's a whole new ballgame in America.

How stupid is that?

If you've got rats and rattlesnakes coming through your front door, you close the damned front door until you can figure out where they are coming from and why.

This need to be seen as "tolerant" is driving many otherwise sensible people to say some profoundly stupid things.

Well, if that is really what is driving the stupidity. It is also possible these pseudo-leaders are freaking out at the potential loss of under-the-table cash from the Saudis if they can't keep the front door open.

Way too many people seem to think that the Constitution is actually a suicide pact. No one has the “right” to come to the US. The US, and every country has the right and obligation to keep out those who wish to destroy or harm their country.

Everyone has been jumping on the Smash Trump bandwagon, but he is exactly right, and will most likely gain support, because he is the only one daring to speak out about what has to be done.

Sharia is a replacement of government, a coup. It’s against the principle of separation of church and state. What don’t apologists understand about that??

It should be shocking but it’s not, how many people in this country are amazingly stupid.

Agreed. Citing the Constitution is lame. They only apply once you’re in this country. The don’t apply to people on foreign soil that are asking to come here.

Somebody need to explain that the Constitution was never intended to allow a non-uniformed army to invade the nation under the guise of immigration. It is an ideological invasion. The majority want Sharia. Each one is another paper cut, enough of them is cultural suicide. Why would you import that?
