It’s “reasonable” until the shoe is on the other foot and the “wheels of power” start going into churches saying there are religious extremists there (note, “religious extremists” has become the Left’s preferred usage).

You didn’t even read his post, it doesn’t even mention “religious extremists” anywhere in it.

Let the left use “religious extremists” all they want, we know which side they are on anyway.

NPR tried that this morning. They interviewed some CAIR terrorist sympathizer who had the gall to equate Muslim and Christian extremism. I didn't smack the radio but I quickly corrected my liberal passenger who thought that was ok.

The problem with Islam is that it promotes Israel hatred (all Muslims hate Israel, even "moderate" ones), it protects the friends and families of terrorists who don't turn them in, it promotes debauchery and degradation of women here in America because their own sins are temporarily "hidden" from Allah here, but evemtually they must atone with jihad.

I've been hearing this "Shoe is on the other foot" talk in relation to liberals and I believe it's fundamentally flawed.

It rests upon the notion that liberals have any sort of principles which restrain their actions.

If they possessed any self restraint, they wouldn't be liberals.

It's as noble (and empty) as thinking that if you don't torture terrorists, they won't torture you...or that if you don't kill the bear, it won't kill you.

RATs do what they can get away with, period.
