Cruz is not positioned to control the GOP primary against the entire GOPe field. You had better hope Trump sticks around for the duration, otherwise the GOP will be stuck with yet another weak candidate in the national election.

Despite being slightly in favor of Cruz over Trump, I have concerns about Cruz's ability to manufacture an Electoral victory over Hillary. OTOH, I believe Trump would cause an Electoral nightmare for the DEMs.

At this point, I just want Trump and Cruz to maintain 50+% of the poll interest combined through the main part of the primaries. DO NOT allow any GOPe candidate to gain traction. Tossing Trump aside now would do just that.
