The country’s largest Muslim advocacy and civil rights organization tonight condemned Donald Trump’s call for barring Muslims from the United States as "bigoted remarks."
"This is outrageous from someone who wants to assume the highest office,” Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), said at a Capitol Hill news conference, adding that Trump’s newly stated position is “un-American."
Awad opened the news conference praising President Obama’s call in his televised address Sunday not to target the U.S. Muslim community.
Against that backdrop, Awad said, "We were extremely shocked to see Donald Trump calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.”
He added: "Donald Trump sounds more like the leader of a lynch mob than a great nation like ours," calling his behavior "a great service to ISIS."

It was proven, years ago, that CAIR had only a few thousand paid members, but a multimillion$ budget financed mostly by Saudis.
It would not be a stretch to also find Kuwait and a few other oil-rich "allies" among the financers of this Koranimals Klub.
The leadership of these muslim countries answer to no one, and their finances are beyond reach and inspection.
There aren't that many! Only a few thousands as late as 2008. And they pay an insignificant amount of their annual budget.
Where does the rest come from?
Most mosques in the US are storefronts or residential homes.
ALL stand-alone purpose-designed custom built as mosques in the US ARE FUNDED BY SAUDI ARABIA AND OTHER RICH MIDEAST COUNTRIES DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
None of the latter re financed and otherwise supported by the local muslims.
That ought to put things in perspective...

As a translator myself (NOT Arabic!) I am painfully aware of the difference between "transliteration" and "translation." The former misses the nuances in the final "translation" language...
e.g. The section of the document translated as...
The Movement must plan and struggle to obtain "the keys" and the tools of this process in carry out (sic) this grand mission as a "Civilization Jihadist" responsibility which lies on the shoulders of Muslims and -- on top of them -- the Muslim Brotherhood in this country [the U.S.] Among these keys and tools are the following: [pg 19 of 32 of the PDF]
The translator of the document is an Arabic-as-First-language with no collaboration with an "English-as-first-language translator. Thus the clumsy phrasing, "in carrying out," and "on top of them" for "over them" (hierarchically.)
Extracting by inferences the sense of the document makes it difficult to really appreciate the duplicity and explicit threat of this "Explanatory Memorandum."
