More like wailing and gnashing of teeth, separated from God for all of eternity, as you realize that you've made the costliest mistake any person could ever make. Where there is absolutely no hope for a better tomorrow.

Can you back up “realize you’ve made [any kind of] mistake” from the bible? The conduct of hell is quite willful. And God also does not offer people a lottery. God offers people a choice.
What’s more I think you are trying to envision a kind of halfway hell where it really has some kind of Christian preacher in it that is believed.
I don’t give that notion any credibility. Hell is totally sold out to the devil.
