broadcast standards across the board need to be tightened up with regard to language...Why? If it is language, it was devised to be spoke. Every WORD has a derivative of something it means. For example, pissed off is derived from the French word ‘pissouir’. Why not blame the French for our language? Piss poor refers to people too poor who could not afford a pot to piss in, in order to sell it to tanneries, who used it to tan hides. “you’ve pissed a farthing” means you got a bonus for working your assigned job.
