Obama is not being "respectful" of the larger region, he's speaking in code that he supports the idea of a Middle East without an Israel.

Absolutely correct.I forget where I heard it last night but several spokespeople pointed out that zero speaks to the terror types all the time in code. This is how he does it. “ISIL” Islam in the Levant is a direct slam at Israel meaning it does not exist.
